About our Jurupa Valley masonry contractor team
We're a masonry contractor based in Jurupa Valley, CA, doing careful brick, block and stone work that's built to last and explained plainly before we start.
How a print shop owner became a mason
I ran a small print shop for years before I traded it for a trowel, and I've never looked back. I learned masonry on weekends working beside an old-school mason, then went at it full time and opened BR Jurupa Valley Concrete & Masonry in 2013. Careful brick and block work is still what we're best known for.
Most of our calls come from folks with an older brick house, a cracked wall or a yard they're finally ready to finish. One week it's worn mortar joints on an older home, the next it's a new garden wall or a grill island. Whatever it is, I'd rather take the careful road than the quick one, because good masonry should outlast the folks who build it.
I care most that you understand what you're paying for and why, before a single brick moves. I also want you to feel good calling us again years down the line, whether it's for a patio, a chimney or just a question about a crack you've been watching.
- Clear answers on what you're paying for
- Careful work over quick fixes
- A crew you'll be glad to call again
- Satisfaction guaranteed on every job
What working with our masonry crew is like
You're letting us into your yard and onto your schedule, so we explain what we're doing, keep the site tidy and get back to you when we say we will.
Straight talk on what's worn
I come out myself and tell you what needs fixing now and what can wait, so you're not sold work you don't need.
Every change on paper
Your written estimate lays out the whole job, and if anything changes along the way, we write it down before we do it.
Permits handled for you
When a job needs a permit, we do the paperwork and line up the inspections with the city's Building & Safety Department.
Calls returned promptly
I ran a small business before this one, so I know a returned call matters. You'll hear back within one business day.
Your old brick protected
We pick repair methods that protect the brick and stone you already have, even when a faster way is sitting right there.
Licensed and fully insured
A state license is required when a job needs a permit or reaches $1,000 in labor and materials, and we're licensed and fully insured.
How we run a masonry job
Every job starts with a look at your house and a written plan, and our crew keeps the work area neat from the first day to the last sweep.
Free on-site visit
I come out to your home, look the job over and ask what you're after, at no charge and with no obligation.
Written estimate
I write up the whole job, what drives the price and what the schedule depends on, so you can decide without pressure.
Preparing your site
Before work starts, we cover nearby plants and paving and set out a clear work area, so the rest of your yard stays usable.
The masonry work
Our crew does the work with a lead mason running things on site, so there's one person to ask when questions come up.
Finish and clean-up
We walk the finished work with you, clean up mortar and debris, and haul off what's left so you get your yard back.
